Simon Harrop

Our principal consultant Simon Harrop began his sales career in 1986 with a Swedish technology company. Building on early successes, he was head hunted to become a sales manager in a competitive start-up company at the age of 22. Simon continued to put together efficient, high-achieving sales teams, consistently attaining more than 120% to target.

Vodafone successfully recruited Simon when they launched in the Australian market in 1993. Simon joined Ericsson as a senior account manager and developed a new distribution model for enterprise products. Simon's most recent corporate posting was with Telstra as Sales Director and General Manager, responsible for the business and consumer channels.

Simon currently sits on the NSW Business Chamber council and is Vice president of the Sydney North advisory council. He has been mentoring students in the University of Technology Business School mentoring program since 2005. He is also a volunteer with the Balmoral Beach Surf Lifesaving (Nippers) program.
